"All I ever really want to know is how other people are making it through life.
Where do they put their body, hour by hour, and how do they cope inside of it."

- Miranda July

Hello! I'm Kandice. I married the best guy I've ever known (we've been best friends and partners since we were teenagers) and, together, we have two kids and a pup. I'm pretty damn enamored with all four of them.

We are fortunate enough to call Northern Utah home and we spend a great deal of our time hiking around our rad state, especially down south in the desert. However, at our core, we're homebodies. We love all things sci-fi and find a ridiculous amount of happiness in really great movie scores and films by Denis Villanueve.

I value kindness, empathy, introspection and enjoy long, vulnerable conversations more than most things. I long to discuss how strange and difficult, yet truly wonderful and awe-inspiring life is. Don't be surprised if I skip right over the small talk and get straight to the real stuff.

I fear a life without sincerity and a life without meaning so I do what I can to foster both in mine. For me, that always tends to manifest in some form of art. I've fallen in love with capturing beautifully honest, emotional images that tell a story of love, partnership, and human connection. I put my heart and soul into my work and feel an overwhelming sense of pride and humility that, every day, I get to do what I love.
